About Us

We are Ron and Julia Bonar and we came to Maryland's Eastern Shore from Pittsburgh, PA in 1986, having decided that our dog hobbies were drawing us to this area more and more.

We were both looking for career changes and having had several not too good experiences boarding our own dogs we decided we could do it better, and so our second careers began!

In what little spare time I have, I compete in AKC events, my main love is competitive Field Trialing. It allows me to enjoy, my dogs and the horses, Ace and Beck, in the beautiful outdoors and I get to see lots of the USA traveling with them to events.

We own and raise Vizslas and German Wirehaired Pointers under the Keystone kennel name:
